What information I collect
I may collect your name, email address, and phone number if you contact me or book an appointment. If you engage in psychotherapy, I also keep brief clinical notes relating to our work together. I collect only the information necessary to provide therapy safely and professionally.
How data is collected via my website
Appointments can be booked using
Calendly, which collects your name, email address, and phone number and manages its own cookies and data in line with its privacy policy.
Newsletter sign-ups are managed through
Substack. Your email address is used only to send the newsletter, and you can unsubscribe at any time.I do not use cookies or tracking technologies directly on this website.
How your information is used
Your information is used to respond to enquiries, manage appointments, provide psychotherapy, and meet ethical and legal obligations. Your data is never sold or used for advertising.
Confidentiality
Everything you share with me is treated as confidential. My work is supported by confidential clinical supervision, where identifying details are protected. Information would only be shared without your consent if there were a serious risk of harm to you or others, or if I were legally required to do so. Wherever possible, this would be discussed with you in advance.
How information is stored
Personal data that I collect from you via any contact forms or personal meetings will be maintained in a locked filing cabinet and / or on password protected documents.
How long information is kept
Clinical records are retained securely for seven years after the end of therapy and are then confidentially destroyed.
Data protection
I am registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) and comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation. If you wish to withdraw your consent to me using your data at any point please let me know by email to
